My friend Helen so young yet so brave
Never seen the spice girls, never been to a rave
Never heard oasis, cant walk to the shops
Cant see the moon or hear the rustling crops.
Never complains or groans or moans or whinges
When her body gives out the occasional twinges.
Imagine a life without vision or sound
And having to ask to be wheeled around,
To the shops or the garden and sometimes the loo.
I cant imagine it really can you?
When i visit we tell lots of rude jokes
And sometimes talk about women and blokes.
I ts a privelage and pleasure to know this young lady,
Good friends for ever and thats no maybe.
